The 2008 Fall youth soccer season is about to begin and I wanted to share with you a very special idea for bringing your youth team to a D.C. United game and also rewarding your Team Manager!

D.C. United Team Manager Appreciation Night
Saturday, September 13th vs. FC Dallas @ 7:30pm

This event will recognize all youth team managers in the area and will present the "Team Manager of the Year" award!

Before the game, participating team managers and their families will be able to take part in a private photo opportunity with the MLS Cup trophy while a D.C. United player signs autographs. All managers will then be recognized on the field before the game with a special PA and scoreboard announcement. All managers receive 2 complimentary tickets and a FREE D.C. United jersey when attending with their team of 20 or more people.

• To nominate a "Team Manager of the Year", send manager's name, contact information and a 250-word essay of why your team manager deserves this title to cjennings@dcunited.com by Friday, September 5, 2008.

 Youth Soccer Team Activities:  Every match there are many on-field youth soccer activities available to teams. Please call me directly for more information on how your team can get onto the field, escort the starting lineups, watch warm-ups from field level or play at half-time.

Volkswagen Garage:  Stop by the VW Garage on field level to enjoy music, play interactive games, check out the latest VW models, and watch the game from field-level until half-time. The garage is open to everyone attending the game and accessible from the ramp at Section 223.
